Gregory R. Miller, PE
President
Mr. Miller was named President of CCI in 1998 and is responsible for overall management of the firm. He oversees the firm’s operations which includes coordination of the firm’s management group, operating groups, fiscal planning, and sales & marketing.

Mr. Miller holds a BS degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland and a BA degree in Chemistry from St. Louis University.

Ed Schultz is the Founder and immediate past President of CCI. Mr. Schultz’s primary responsibilities are in Fire Protection and Life Safety Consultation and all facets of project management, client relations, contract administration, quality control and client retention.

Mr. Schultz holds a BT degree in Architecture from Washington University.

Mr. Kirn has ultimate responsibility of all of CCI’s design services, including the Fire Sprinkler Design Group and the Alarm Systems Design Group.

Mr. Kirn holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri.

Mr. Ambrose’s primary responsibilities are in Fire Protection and Life Safety Consultation for Institutional Occupancies including Education, Healthcare and Correctional Facilities Industries and all facets of project management, client relations, contract administration, quality control and client retention.

Mr. Ambrose holds a BS degree in Engineering from Old Dominion University.

Mr. McCormick is the Principal–in–charge of CCI’s New York office. In this capacity, Mr. McCormick’s primary responsibilities are in Fire Protection and Life Safety Consultation and all facets of project management, client relations, contract administration, quality control and client retention.

Mr. McCormick holds a BS degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland and a MS degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Tennessee.

David J. Burkhart, PE
Mr. Burkhart’s primary responsibility is overall management of the Design Group including all facets of project management, client relations, contract administration, quality control, and business development. He supervises Engineering Managers, Project Managers, Designers, and Technicians. Client retention is a foundational objective.

Mr. Burkhart holds a BS degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland, a BS degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York and a AA degree in Industrial Fire Protection from Catonsville Community College of Maryland.

Mr. Lewis’ primary responsibilities are in Fire Protection and Life Safety Consultation and all facets of project management, client relations, contract administration, quality control and client retention.

Mr. Lewis’ specialties include multi–use projects and industrial facilities involving complex storage and materials handling configurations—including those dealing with hazardous materials.

Mr. Lewis holds a BS degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University.

Mr. Schultz’s primary responsibilities are in Fire Protection and Life Safety Consultation and all facets of project management, client relations, contract administration, quality control and client retention.

Mr. Schultz’s specialties include complex multi–use and airport facility projects as well as large retail and covered mall developments.

Mr. Schultz holds a BS degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland.
