Benefits provided by CCI include:
- Clarification of the casino vessel as a U.S. Coast Guard certified continuously–moored vessel, thus not subject to land–based code requirements.
- Approval for a portion of the casino vessel means of egress to extend through the land–based building.
- Assisting naval architect with U.S.C.G. Main Vertical Zone (MVZ) equivalency, including tenability analysis of the casino vessel using computer fire & egress modeling.
- Approval for attached open parking structure to be exempt from high–rise building requirements.
