Steve Wolin joined CCI in 2001 with extensive knowledge of fire and egress modeling. In leading CCI’s Fire and Egress Modeling services, his advanced analysis and simulation of building performance during fire conditions compliments the creative code concepts CCI develops for buildings.  Steve also provides leadership in market sectors including government, higher education, corporate, and research and development. Steve is a member of the Missouri Bar and assists legal counsel in understanding the complexities of fire protection requirements. 

 

Steve is a recipient of the Harry C. Bigglestone Award for Excellence in the Written Communication of Fire Protection Concepts from the NFPA Fire Protection Research Foundation and has published peer-reviewed papers on topics including structural fire protection, smoke movement, smoke detector response, and automatic sprinkler systems.  Steve holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University.
